Chief Clancy Wiggum is a recurring character in the animated TV show, The Simpsons. He is the inept and often incompetent chief of the Springfield Police Department. Wiggum is portrayed as lazy, overweight, and easily bribed with food, particularly donuts.

His first appearance was in the episode "Homer's Odyssey" (Series #1). He's known for his bumbling attempts to maintain law and order, often making situations worse with his poor judgment and lack of intelligence.

The Chief Wiggum character has also been represented in various The Simpsons merchandise, including a minifigure in Lego's CMF The Simpsons 1 series. This further solidified his iconic status within The Simpsons universe.
